School Closures

As you are all aware the school was closed part of last week due to the snow. In the event of a school closure due to the bad weather etc these are the procedures that are followed:

  • An email is sent by the Headteacher to the County Council notifying them that the school is closed.
  • Cornwall Council then notify Pirate FM and Cornwall Radio who in turn notify the listeners. It is also posted on the Cornwall Council Website.
  • The school will then update its own website advising all parents that the school is closed.
