From the Office

Creation Fest

This free Christian music festival will be returning to Cornwall this summer at the showground in Wadebridge from the 7-13th August.  A full programme of music, Bible teaching, seminars, workshops, sports activities, films, ‘Creation Kids’ and family fun (along with a massive skate / BMX park with Pro skate demos is promised.  Entry is free but if you wish to camp there will be a cost.  For more information see http://www.creationfest.org.uk/  .  Those that went last year had a good time and it would be good to support an event such as this happening on our own doorstep.

INSET Day

Just to remind everyone that school is closed on Friday 12th February for an INSET Day.

BADGE OF THE WEEK

Congratulations to the following pupils who were last week’s winners of the award.

Class 3 – Jack Hawken for being so enthusiastic during our recycling trip.

Sainsburys Voucher Scheme

Active Kids 2010 is due to be launched on 17th February and will run until 8th June. We already have a collection box in the school and eagerly

await your voucher donations! We will keep you posted on how collections are going.

Mrs Morse

We are sorry to have to notify you that Mrs Morse will not be returning to school until after half term. Mrs Roberts will carry on standing in for her whilst she is not in school.

Boconnoc Flower Show

This year the show is on Saturday 10th April and Sunday 11th April. Schools are not entering this year, but it would be great if individual children from the school could enter. They have some great categories such as wheelbarrow garden, planted boots or shoes, and miniature gardens. If you would like an entry form or anymore information, please see Jo or Pippa in the office.

Looking Forward

We are all excited about the new changes in school. Our lovely new library will be opening very shortly, and at last Class 1 are now free of the photocopier. We have some visitors planned for the forthcoming months, more information will be out soon.

We are all looking forward to a bright 2010-11 and would like to thank all those positive parents for helping to make the school a great place for our children.
