Pupil Reports

 

Don’t forget to look in your child’s book bag for their report if you are in class 2 or 3. Due to staff sickness, class 1 reports will not be out until Friday 16th July. Parent’s will then have an opportunity to meet with the class teacher the following Tuesday to discuss any issues. Please note that the reports are in place of Parent’s Evening and parents only need to make an appointment if there is a problem.

 

2010-11 Academic Year

 

Please find attached the holiday dates for the new academic year. Please note the 6 INSET days at the bottom of the page.

 

Hair

 

Please remember that all long hair needs to be tied back.

 

School shoes

 

We have noticed that some children are not wearing the correct school shoes. We appreciate that it is very close to the end of term, but can you still inform us in writing if this is the case.

 

Music Lessons

 

If your child would like to take up either Violin, Guitar or brass lessons in September, could you please fill out the form below and return it to the office. Their name will then be added to the list and passed on to the relevant teacher.

Summer Charity Foot Ball

 

In May 2011 Mr Marshall-Stevens will be cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats in nine days to raise money for Action Medical Research. Action Medical Research are the leading UK-wide medical research charity dedicated to helping babies and children. Please help by coming along to our first fundraising party at Golant Village Hall on Friday 16th July. 7-11pm, there will be games, PIMMS, music and dancing. If you can’t make it, but still wish to sponsor you can do so by visiting http://www.action.org.uk/sponsor/garym.

 

Transition Mornings

 

Transitions mornings start next week, please remember that if your child is in class 2 next year, you are invited to come along on Monday 12th July at 9am to meet with Mrs Winch and discuss yours child’s transition. We would like to remind all visitors to the school that they must sign in outside the office and ensure they read the fire evacuation plan.
If you help at school and have not received a copy of the visitor’s handbook then please ask Jo for a copy before your next visit.
Please drive slowly outside our school and help keep our community safe!
